Wz50 Helmet
The wz50 helmet is the first helmet created in Poland after World War II. Modeled on the Soviet SSz-40 and the fasing modeled on the Italian M33 helmet. The helmet had 3 rivets and was made of special steel by pressing. It was withdrawn in the late 1960s and replaced by the Wz67 helmet. The helmet was painted green (land forces), gray (Aviation, Marines and Navy) and white (Military Internal Service [WSW]). I received it from a certain person while participating in the Ostrowski Collector's Day 2023.
