My name is Aleksander and I am a young history enthusiast from Poland. I am most interested in the period from 1800 to 1991, although I am absolutely most interested in World War I. In my collection, as well as on this website, you will find not only masks, but also other items of equipment, such as helmets, uniforms, etc., but also everyday items from the interwar period and the PRL . However, despite the multitude of other things, gas masks remain my main interest. The site is to be an online version of my collection available to everyone, wherever they are. It also aims to share my passion with others and save the increasingly forgotten history of gas masks.
About the collection itself
I had a general interest in the old times since I was a child, although I have been interested in gas masks only since about 2020/21. Since then, I have been collecting various types of gas masks and other antiquities, sometimes saving them from scrapping and sometimes just buying them.
To sum up, I have done my best to make the site interesting, so I hope you will like it
