Singer 15-30 sewing machine

The sewing machine you see here is a Singer 15-30. It was one of the most popular sewing machines during and after its production era. Initially, in Poland, due to the price, only German or Jewish families could usually afford them (Poland in the times of the Second Polish Republic was famous for its tolerance, many different nationalities lived here). After World War 2, this machine was one of the most popular machines in the PRL, it could be found in almost every household, next to, for example, the "Łucznik" machines. Today in Poland you can buy such a functional machine for +-40 PLN (about 10 US dollars). This curvy machine was produced on March 18, 1908 in a factory in New Jersey in Elizabethport (USA). What must be said clearly is quite interesting because it means that this machine had to cross the entire ocean to reach Poland and in those times it could have been difficult and very expensive. The machine is 100% functional, but requires oiling and inserting the drum.

I got the machine from my Grandma, but the table is not original and was made by my Grand Grandfather
