VM-37
The VM-37 gas mask was the successor of the VM-40 mask, the only difference being that the VM-40 mask is a face mask while the VM-37 is a Hood mask. The reason for this change is that hood masks are more expensive to produce than face masks. By far the most distinctive feature of the mask is its nose-shaped exhalation valve. It works as shown in photo 29. The masks were produced in 4 sizes K, F, M, MU (Kinder, Frauen, Maenner, Maenner Uebergr). Interestingly, the mask is from Auer and the Dräger box, which means that the box is not original, I don't know when the replacement took place, but certainly someone made it. The mask has a standard thread of 38 millimeters. The filter included in the set (a filter because it does not have an absorber that absorbs solid particles, e.g. sand) is RL1, the so-called "shower head", It was called so because of its appearance similar to shower heads.
I managed to win the mask at the first auction in my life
