Kodak Vest Pocket
Kodak Vest Pocket, which is actually the first ever camera of such small dimensions. Although we should start from the "beginning", the camera (in the first version) was produced from 1912 to the beginning of 1914 and due to price, size and ease of use, it quickly became one of the best-selling cameras. However, the group that quickly took a liking to it were soldiers. This was due not only to the previously mentioned advantages but also to the marketing that was (at least partially) directed towards them. The ads said, among other things, "The gift he will be most happy with is a soldier's Kodak! (that's what VPK was called in ads addressed to soldiers)." The camera had 4 exposure times: 25, B, T and 50, as well as aperture settings, it takes photos on 127 film. My camera has a serial number 217.452 which, considering that just over 200,000 pieces were produced, may mean that this camera is the last thousand of this model produced . The camera is 100% functional (as you can see in the video below). The original camera case (photos at the bottom) is made of leather. As you can notice, it does not have straps to wear around the neck, which was due to the fact that it was promoted to be carried in a pocket, unlike other heavier and bigger cameras.
